Review by Barbara (Bobbie) Purvis
This is an excellent program for anyone looking to supplement their Tai Chi practice. Duncan Wong has been practicing for many years and it shows. Check out the Video Clip above to see what I mean. I most appreciated the stretching as a change-of-pace from those we do in Tai Chi class. As Sifu says, “There’s only so many ways we can move our bodies,” so predictably, many of the stretches are similar to those we are familiar with. The difference is that these are linked together to “flow” from one posture to the next. I use it on a day when I want to get some stretching in along with breath work, but don’t have a lot of time. Left on my own, I waste more time than I get good quality stretching done. Aside from that, Duncan Wong is a true artist. If you’re not planning to do the workout, it is worth the time to see him move.
