There are a number of ways to increase the benefits you get from training:
• First and foremost, come to class. Why? –Because class is not complete without you. Each person brings a unique energy to class and when you are gone, it is missed. Really!
• Put in some practice time away from class. Just 10 minutes six days a week is equivalent to an extra hour of training.
• Read and learn more about the history and philosophy of Tai Chi. The more you understand the more effective your practices will be.
• Participate in seminars and workshops, most of which are hosted at the Gwan to make it easier for you to attend. These sessions are designed to build on what you are learning in class.
• Attend School events. You will meet many of your Brothers and Sisters who are in classes other than the ones you attend.
• Share your experiences with others. Enthusiasm is contagious!
Tai Chi is one of those things that give back what you put into it and then some!
